The Artist’s Way
This was recommended to me by a close friend many years ago when I was having a bit of a block. It really helped me overcome the expectation that every time I sit down with an instrument, I come up with a masterpiece. The most important lesson for me on this was to let go of the inner critic and simply enjoy experimenting with sound, much like we all did when we were kids!
